Job summary

Jerry.ai seeks a driven Legal Operations Lead to own core operations across entity compliance, regulatory projects, and brand protection. You will automate tasks with AI/low-code tools, manage filings and audits, and collaborate with Engineering and Product to reduce user friction.

You’ll report to the Legal Counsel, own projects end-to-end, and help scale a fast-growing startup while maintaining accuracy and compliance across US and Canada.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Track record of owning projects start to finish and solving problems independently.
• Interest in using AI/low-code tools to automate workflows.

Responsibilities

• Automation: Use AI and low-code tools to replace manual legal tasks with automated workflows.
• Legal and regulatory projects: Collaborate on research, contract reviews, and other substantive tasks.
• Entity compliance: Maintain corporate entities across US and Canada, handling annual reports and requests.
• Brand protection: Monitor IP, identify infringements, and initiate cease-and-desist workflows.
• Consumer escalations: Investigate escalations and translate learnings into compliance training.
• Product compliance reviews: Assess products/processes for compliance risk and user friction, coordinate fixes.
• Compliance audits: Lead audits across operations and monitor high-risk areas.
