Job summary

Jerry.ai is hiring a Legal Operations Lead to drive core legal operations, automation, and regulatory projects across the US and Canada. You will own initiatives from concept to deployment, building scalable workflows with AI and low-code tools.

You will ensure entity compliance, monitor brand protection, handle consumer escalations, and guide product and engineering to reduce compliance friction. Startup environment requires grit and proactive updates.

Qualifications

• Own projects from start to finish and drive them to completion.
• Automate repetitive legal tasks using AI or low-code tools.
• Work cross-functionally with engineering, product, and finance teams.
• Maintain meticulous regulatory filings and audits with zero errors.
• Communicate updates proactively and flag blockers early.

Responsibilities

• Automation: Use AI and low-code tools to replace manual legal tasks with workflows that run on their own.
• Legal and regulatory projects: Collaborate on legal research, contract reviews, and other substantive initiatives.
• Entity compliance: Manage corporate entities across the US and Canada, annual reports and state requests.
• Brand protection: Monitor IP, identify infringements, and initiate cease-and-desist workflows.
• Consumer escalations: Investigate escalations, root-cause, and train teams on fixes.
• Product compliance reviews: Assess compliance risk and work with Eng/Prod to fix issues.
• Compliance audits: Lead audits across operations and monitor high-risk areas.
