Job summary

Decisive Point Consulting Group is seeking a Software Product Engineer for a fully remote role on a major federal project. You will lead design and development of scalable, AI-enabled healthcare platforms, building production-grade services with React and Node.js/TypeScript.

You will work with cross-functional teams to translate complex requirements into robust cloud-native solutions, employing TDD and CI/CD practices to ensure reliability in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in CS/SE/AI or related field.
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with AI-enabled systems.
• Hands-on React and Node.js/TypeScript building production services and REST APIs.
• Experience with AWS data and messaging services for AI workloads.
• Experience with microservices and distributed systems.
• Proficient in TDD and automated testing.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. government clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design and build event-driven, data-intensive backend services in Node.js/TypeScript, using cloud-native AWS solutions.
• Decompose workflows into microservices with clear service boundaries and data ownership.
• Drive TDD and maintain strong test coverage across unit/integration/contract tests.
• Develop AI pipelines processing structured/unstructured data for intelligent decisions.
• Design cloud-native architectures and distributed systems for AI-driven apps.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into deployable solutions.
