Job summary

OpenTrain AI is seeking experienced transactional lawyers to help evaluate and improve AI contract language through simulated negotiations and grading. The role is remote, flexible, and paid hourly as an independent contractor.

You will review AI responses to contract scenarios, identify risks, and provide practical feedback to enhance model performance, working 20+ hours a week on your own schedule from the United States.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of transactional legal experience in a law firm or in-house setting.
• Hands-on experience with commercial agreements, such as master services agreements or nondisclosure agreements.
• Strong written and verbal English, analytical reasoning, attention to detail and consistent evaluation skills.

Responsibilities

• Run simulated contract negotiations and redline commercial agreements
• Review AI responses to contract scenarios and identify strengths, weaknesses, risks and inaccuracies
• Apply grading criteria consistently across contract-review tasks
• Explain your legal judgment clearly and turn it into practical feedback for improving model performance
