Job summary

Outlier is hiring detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media from the comfort of their home. You will hold live conversations with AI voice models, compare image/video outputs, and explain what is off, helping guide AI improvements. This is a fully remote, freelance contract with flexible hours.

Contributors are paid per task with weekly payments and additional incentives; work is from any location with English proficiency and strong written communication skills.

Qualifications

• Fluent English speaker with clear written communication.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to replay or zoom in when something seems off.
• Able to explain judgments in written form with evidence.
• Willingness to work remotely with flexible hours.
• Bachelor's degree or above is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Holding a live, scenario-based conversation in English with AI voice models and ranking naturalness, usefulness, and clarity.
• Comparing pairs of AI-generated images and videos and judging which better follows the prompt.
• Inspecting outputs closely to spot problems like distorted anatomy, flickering, or audio-video mismatches.
• Rating outputs across dimensions and writing a concrete explanation in English.
