Job summary

Metric Bio is seeking a scientifically rigorous AI Biologist to build tasks and benchmarks for Medical Countermeasures. You will curate data, write gold standard answers, and help AI agents distinguish true signals from noise in vaccine and antiviral data.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on experience in vaccine/antibody development or antiviral development, ideally in respiratory viruses
• Deep expertise in vaccines/antibodies or antivirals areas
• Familiarity with AI benchmarking in biology and ability to critique AI outputs

Responsibilities

• Build the task by converting raw data into gold standard answers and curate data
• Set hard calls to distinguish real escape/resistance from artifacts and account for immune imprinting
• Judge agent conclusions, identify where agents err and encourage explicit uncertainty over guesses
