Metric Bio is seeking an AI Biologist specializing in Genetic Medicines to advance AI-driven evaluations of gene therapies and RNA therapeutics. This remote role offers collaboration with LatchBio and access to a San Francisco office.

You will design challenging research tasks, interpret complex preclinical data, and help establish standards for AI agents navigating genetic medicine workflows.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Molecular Biology, Genetics, Gene Therapy, Genetic Engineering, Pharmacology or related field.
• 3+ years hands-on industry experience in genetic medicine.
• Experience with gene therapy, gene editing, or RNA therapeutics.
• Experience interpreting preclinical data and toxicology.

Responsabilités

• Design scientific evaluations across gene therapy, gene editing and RNA therapeutics.
• Interpret preclinical datasets including PK/PD, biodistribution, immunogenicity.
• Collaborate with scientists and software engineers on AI-driven evaluation workflows.
• Evaluate AI-generated conclusions for scientific validity.
