Job summary

Stride, Inc. seeks an AI Architect to design and deliver production-ready AI solutions across the organization. You will lead a small team of AI Engineers, mentor teammates, and coordinate with UX, front-end, and domain experts to build end-to-end ML pipelines in the cloud.

Responsibilities include overseeing model design, deployment, governance, and alignment with K12 and enterprise needs, while driving cross-functional collaboration and responsible AI practices.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and deploying ML models, esp. NLP and recommender systems, using Python and ML libraries.
• Proficiency with AWS, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform to build scalable, secure environments.
• Strong analytical, detail-oriented, and communication skills; ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Conceive, prototype, and deploy ML models across product lines, prioritizing production readiness.
• Directly supervise 1–3 AI Engineers and flex contributors on projects.
• Ensure AI governance, data privacy, and alignment with business objectives.
• Advise on DevOps/MLOps practices and cross-functional collaboration.
