Job summary

Stride, Inc. seeks an AI Architect to lead a small team of AI Engineers in building production‑grade AI solutions. The role involves supervising 1–3 engineers and occasionally integrating UX and SME help to craft enterprise NLP and recommender systems.

You will drive end‑to‑end ML pipelines in cloud environments, ensuring governance, data privacy, and alignment with K12 objectives while mentoring teammates and guiding product decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in CS, Math, Physics, Engineering, or equivalent with 6 years related experience.
• Certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect or Azure Solutions Architect are a plus but not mandatory.
• Experience designing and deploying ML models—especially NLP and recommender systems—using Python and ML libraries.

Responsibilities

• Design, prototype, and deploy ML models across product lines, with emphasis on NLP and recommendations.
• Build production-ready AI systems using AWS, Azure, containers, and IaC tools.
• Lead end-to-end ML pipelines: data ingest, model training, deployment, monitoring, and iteration.
• Supervise 1–3 AI Engineers and flex contributors on projects.
• Mentor on coding best practices and scalable design.
