Job summary

Stride, Inc. is seeking an AI Architect to design and deliver production-ready AI solutions across the organization.

You will lead a small team of AI Engineers and occasionally support UX, front-end, and SME roles to implement end-to-end ML pipelines in cloud environments. You will mentor engineers, ensure governance and privacy compliance, and drive AI initiatives that align with K12 and enterprise objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, Physics, or Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience designing and deploying ML models, especially NLP and recommender systems.
• Proficiency with AWS, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform to build scalable, secure environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead conception, prototyping, and deployment of ML models across multiple product lines.
• Supervise 1–3 AI engineers and flex contributors on projects.
• Mentor team on coding best practices and ML development.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, IT, Data Stewards, and executives to align AI initiatives with goals.
• Ensure AI governance, privacy, and compliance align with regulations.
