Job summary

Stride, Inc. is seeking an AI Architect to design and deliver production‑ready AI solutions. This home‑based role will manage a small team of AI Engineers and coordinate with UX, front‑end, and SME contributors to build enterprise‑scale ML pipelines in cloud environments.

You will mentor team members, align AI initiatives with Stride's business objectives in K12 and broader enterprise contexts, and ensure governance and data privacy. Salary ranges will reflect location and experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Math, Physics, or Engineering, or equivalent with 6 years related experience.
• Experience designing and deploying ML models, especially NLP and recommender systems, using Python.
• Proficiency with AWS, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform to build scalable, secure environments.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and customer service orientation.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive conception, prototyping, and deployment of ML models across product lines (NLP & recommender systems).
• Leverage AWS, Azure, containerization, and IaC to create scalable AI systems.
• Oversee data ingestion, model training, deployment, monitoring, and iteration for improvement.
• Directly supervise 1–3 AI Engineers; guide coding best practices.
