Job summary

Outlier is hiring remote evaluators to review AI-generated media. You’ll hold live conversations with AI voice models, compare image and video pairs, and explain what’s off in writing. Flexible hours allow you to work from home or while traveling.

The role is 1099 contract work, with pay up to $15 per hour and weekly payouts. Ideal candidates are fluent in English, detail-oriented, and able to clearly justify their decisions.

Qualifications

• Fluent English with clear written communication.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to replay or zoom in when something seems off.
• Bachelor's degree or above preferred.
• Comfortable thinking on your feet and discussing realistic scenarios.
• Experience writing concise explanations or reviews.
• Able to make a clear decision when both options have flaws.

Responsibilities

• Holding a live, scenario-based conversation in English with AI voice models, then ranking how natural, useful, and clear each one sounded.
• Comparing pairs of AI-generated images and videos and judging which follows the prompt better.
• Inspecting outputs closely to spot problems like distorted anatomy, flickering or unnatural motion, text errors, and audio mismatches.
• Rating each output across dimensions like adherence, quality, and realism and writing a specific English explanation.
• Contributing to evaluation tasks such as image, video, and audio evaluations and producing precise feedback.
