Job summary

HealthEquity is seeking an Automation Ops Specialist to lead the buildout and operation of Member Services Automated Operations. This role blends conversation design, AI agent management, and process improvement to ensure safe, efficient member interactions.

You will design flows, tune prompts, oversee backlogs, and partner with product and engineering to improve automation while maintaining compliance and member trust. Remote-friendly with hybrid options based on need.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, IS, ops, CS, or related field.
• 3+ years in support operations, automated operations, or related functions.
• Hands-on experience configuring AI agents, chatbots, or low/no-code tooling.
• Experience with Intercom, Zendesk, Salesforce, or similar platforms.

Responsibilities

• Monitor AI support experiences in production and track metrics.
• Design, tune, and test conversation flows, prompts, and guidance rules.
• Create and maintain AI optimization backlogs with testing notes and docs.
• Support low/no-code tools and integrations for automated workflows.
