Job summary

Ladders is seeking an Agentic AI Developer IV to join a leader in the Enterprise Technology space. This remote role will help shape platform services powering production AI agents across the product ecosystem, focusing on reusable orchestration, workflow automation, and developer enablement to improve reliability and delivery speed.

Collaborating with product and platform teams, you will standardize patterns, strengthen release discipline, and deliver maintainable, scalable systems.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of backend or platform engineering experience with distributed systems and infrastructure services.
• Proven track record building reliable production systems with emphasis on quality and maintainability.
• Familiarity with asynchronous execution, service coordination, and deployment pipelines.
• Experience in pod-based delivery ownership and cross-functional collaboration.
• Interest in AI agents, LLMs, and workflow automation.
• Strong communication of technical decisions and production issues.

Responsibilities

• Design and build platform services for production AI agents across product teams.
• Implement reusable capabilities for orchestration and workflow automation.
• Collaborate with product and platform teams to ensure quality and operational readiness of releases.
• Enhance developer tooling and monitoring for agent systems.
• Support release discipline and continuous improvement after launch.
• Identify and standardize repeated implementation patterns into shared capabilities.
• Mentor engineers on implementation and testing best practices.
