Job summary

Brown & Brown is seeking an Agency Development Manager to expand the agency distribution channel by driving quote submissions, growing written premium, and increasing policies in force. This remote role covers NY, NJ, MD, VA, and WV, with frequent travel for in-person agency visits.

A target annual commission of up to 20% of base salary complements a base salary within the stated pay range. Ideal candidates have 2-4 years in Property & Casualty, are self-motivated and relationship-driven, and

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of Property & Casualty industry experience.
• Willingness and ability to travel frequently for in-person agency visits within the assigned territory.
• Ability to navigate challenges with a positive attitude and adapt to changing priorities or market conditions.
• Consistently represents the company with integrity and professionalism in all interactions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and nurture relationships with new and existing agents to drive risk selection and partnerships.
• Generate premium growth through interactions with agencies (calls, emails, visits).
• Identify and develop new agency opportunities through prospecting.
• Deliver training and ongoing support to agencies on systems, products, and guidelines.
• Provide account management support for agencies and maintain Salesforce records.
• Collaborate with marketing to ensure consistent agency communication.
