Job summary

Cassia Community is seeking an experienced Minnesota-licensed RN to join our After Hours RN team in a remote, part-time role. The position focuses on triaging calls, guiding clinical decisions, and coordinating care with hospitals, families, and providers.

Required is a current MN RN license; prior Assisted Living or DHS experience is preferred. Training occurs at the Edina corporate office, with ongoing remote work and competitive hourly pay of $36.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Minnesota RN license in good standing.
• Willingness to travel for training to the Edina, MN office and Cassia sites as needed.
• Experience in Assisted Living or long-term care preferred.
• Director of Health Services experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Triage incoming after-hours calls from clinical staff for urgent and emergent resident situations.
• Assess and provide clinical guidance to ensure timely care.
• Coordinate care with hospitals, providers, families, and site leadership.
• Act as an extension of site DHS to support clinical decision‑making and continuity of care.
• Document all calls and interventions accurately in the EMR system.
• Monitor and respond to calls throughout the shift.
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with staff, residents, and families.
