Job summary

Roers Companies is seeking a Compliance Specialist to join our team. This role handles move-in applications, annual recertifications, and documentation in line with program guidelines, working closely with property management and site teams.

The position offers a comprehensive benefits package and a pay range of $55,400–$69,200 per year, with remote work options across the U.S. and a commitment to diversity and inclusion.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 3-4+ years of affordable housing compliance experience.
• Ability to manage multiple certifications and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and customer service with residents, applicants, and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Process and track move-in applications within 3–5 business days.
• Process and track annual recertifications within 30 days of the recertification date.
• Verify and input applicant income, assets, and household information per guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records in compliance systems and coordinate with site teams.
• Assist in preparing files for audits and respond to inquiries from leadership.
