Job summary

GE Aerospace Dowty Propellers Field Service Representative in the United States (Hurlburt Field, FL) provides technical direction and hands-on support for the R391 Composite Propeller System. You will travel up to 60% to global destinations, perform maintenance, and guide service teams to meet program objectives in a safety-focused environment.

Minimum qualifications include an Associate’s or higher, with 2+ years of repair experience; a Bachelor's degree or equivalent aviation experience is

Qualifications

• Minimum requires Associate's Degree or High School Diploma/GED.
• 2+ years repairing and maintaining aircraft engine/propeller systems (desired).
• Bachelor's Degree or 4+ years aviation experience in Field Service/Maintenance (desired).
• Strong oral and written communication skills; leadership and problem-solving mindset.

Responsibilities

• Provide general technical direction to customer for operation, maintenance, repair, and installation of GE products.
• Provide on-site data interpretation and technical instruction to customers.
• Coordinate with Project Engineering, Program Management and Field Service for status and issues with timely reports.
• Communicate program activities and issues to Product Support and Field Service.
• Assist scheduling maintenance and workload; ensure parts meet schedules; make recommendations.
• Review maintenance actions to identify training needs and anticipate future requirements.
• Perform intermediate and depot level maintenance; hands-on repair of R391 system and components.
