Job summary

Dowty Propellers, a GE Aerospace Company, seeks a Field Service Representative to support the R391 Composite Propeller System at Hurlburt Field, FL. You will guide the work group, interpret data on-site, and manage program status with customers, contributing to safety and reliability.

Role involves significant travel up to 60%, hands-on maintenance, and collaboration with Product Support and Field Service teams to drive continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or High School Diploma / GED from an accredited school.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent aviation experience (4+ years) is preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership capabilities for cross-functional work.
• Analytical mindset with ability to drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Provide general technical direction and assistance for operation, maintenance, repair, and installation of GE products.
• On-site interpretation of data and technical instruction to the customer.
• Provide project engineering, program management and field service status updates.
• Communicate program activities and issues through regular reports.
• Identify and report market intelligence and sales opportunities for programs.
• Assist customers in scheduling maintenance and workload planning.
• Help ensure parts meet schedules and provide recommendations on findings.
• Review maintenance actions to identify training needs.
• Anticipate requirements beyond current programs and assist actions to satisfy them.
• Perform intermediate and depot level maintenance.
• Hands-on repair and maintenance of the R391 Composite Propeller System.
