Job summary

Hartzell Propeller LLC is a leading aviation engineering and manufacturing company seeking a technically capable professional to provide help desk support for our products and to conduct training and field auditing. You will assist with warranty processing, service literature, and on-site support for operators and OEMs, ensuring customers receive accurate guidance and rapid issue resolution.

The role involves collaborating with Product Engineering to address field problems, attending trade shows

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science preferred or equivalent experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with an understanding of general aviation systems.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• In-depth understanding of blue print reading and drawings.
• Knowledge and use of standard hand tools and measuring tools.
• Basic understanding of inspection methods.
• Strong technical writing skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals.
• Basic computer skills; MS Office, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Provide help desk support for customers / maintainers of our products.
• Provide warranty processing support, analysis and reporting.
• Assist with development of maintenance manuals and service literature.
• Provide feedback to engineering regarding product issues and improvement opportunities.
• Attend IA seminars and trade shows to provide technical support and training in our products.
• Develop and lead maintenance training programs/presentations for our products.
