Job summary

GE Aerospace is seeking a Lead Military Field Service Representative to provide on-site technical support to military customers working on F103/CFM56 propulsion systems. The role is based in Maryland with remote work options and involves coordinating with GE Aerospace engineering and factory teams to meet contractual goals.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience), 3+ years of propulsion-related field maintenance, and the ability to obtain USG clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• Minimum 3 years of field maintenance, modification, and repair on propulsion systems.
• Willing to travel and relocate; able to obtain USG clearance for a highly classified program.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical interpretation and guidance for maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Identify tooling needs and ensure proper use of tooling and handling equipment.
• Develop local training to support maintenance tasks and close gaps.
• Assist with fault isolation, root cause analysis, and issue resolution.
• Evaluate maintenance actions to improve effectiveness and reduce repeats.
• Support logistics tasks including work scope reviews and scheduling.
• Apply analytical methods to improve reliability and performance.
• Demonstrate best practices for disassembly, repair, and assembly of engines.
