Job summary

Dowty Propellers, a GE Aerospace Company, is seeking a Field Service Representative to support the R391 Composite Propeller System at Hurlburt Field, FL. You will provide on-site technical direction, repair, and maintenance to ensure safety and reliability of propulsion systems.

Qualifications

Associate’s Degree or High School Diploma / GED from an accredited school.
Up to 60% travel to global destinations.
Able to lift minimum of 65 lbs.
2+ years repairing aircraft engines/propeller systems.
Bachelor’s Degree or higher aviation experience preferred.
Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

Provide technical direction and assistance for operation, maintenance, repair, and installation of GE products.
Interpret data on-site and deliver technical instruction.
Support project engineering, program management, and field service with status reports.
Communicate program activities and problems through regular reports.
Identify maintenance training needs and recommend improvements.
Perform intermediate and depot level maintenance on the R391 Propeller System.
Hands-on repair and maintenance of the R391 components.
