Job summary

Zone 5 Technologies is seeking a Documentation Control Specialist to manage and coordinate controlled documentation across aerospace manufacturing programs. The role ensures DD250 processing, configuration control, and compliance with AS9100/ISO 9001, collaborating with HQ, partners, quality and engineering teams.

Remote work is allowed, but candidates must reside in the Camden, AR area or Cincinnati/Cleveland, OH areas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or associate degree in Business Administration, Engineering Technology, Supply Chain or related field.
• 3+ years of documentation control experience in aerospace/defense/manufacturing or regulated industry.
• Experience processing DD250 documentation and government contract deliverables.
• Knowledge of AS9100 and ISO 9001 and configuration management.
• Experience coordinating with multiple departments and third-party manufacturers.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Excel, Word, PowerPoint; ERP/MRP/PLM/EDMS familiarity.
• Strong organizational, analytical and communication skills; ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain documentation for aerospace manufacturing programs per quality standards and customer requirements.
• Prepare, review, and process DD Form 250 documentation to support government contracts.
• Coordinate documentation requirements between Headquarters, production facilities, third-party partners, quality, engineering, and logistics teams.
• Verify documentation packages for completeness, accuracy and compliance before shipment.
• Maintain document revision control and configuration management throughout the product lifecycle.
• Build and maintain manufacturing records, CoCs, inspection reports, FAI docs, test and shipping docs.
• Generate reports and documentation for on-site demonstrations, customer reviews, acceptance testing, and sales.
• Track production milestones and ensure alignment with schedules and delivery dates.
• Collaborate with supply chain and manufacturing partners to obtain required quality/compliance docs.
• Support audits by maintaining accurate documentation records and retrieval systems.
• Ensure compliance with AS9100, ISO 9001, government contracting requirements and customer standards.
• Maintain EDMS with secure storage, version control and traceability.
• Identify documentation discrepancies and coordinate corrective actions with cross-functional teams.
• Prepare executive reports detailing production status, documentation completion, shipment readiness and deliverables.
