Thrivent is seeking a senior leader to direct a team of 10-15 nationally licensed advisors servicing clients across all 50 states. Qualifications

• College degree in business, management, related business field, or equivalent experience.
• Prior experience as a financial advisor.
• Possession of FINRA Series 7, 63/65 or 66 and Life/Health Insurance licenses is highly desired and must be obtained within 120 days of hire/transfer.
• 5+ years’ experience of leading a team of 8 or more direct reports is highly desired.
• Must be eligible to be Securities and Insurance licensed in all 50 states and the District of Columbia.
• Previous experience in financial planning, investment products, and insurance products.
• Prior training and experience with consultative, needs-based sales models (Integrity Selling or similar).
• Experience leading change in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 10-15 nationally licensed advisors to drive performance and sales results.
• Manage annual team revenue of $1.5M+ and collaborate with sales leadership to ensure client experience.
• Conduct regular coaching sessions to develop consultative sales skills and career growth.
• Recruit, interview, and select talent based on attrition and growth needs.
• Provide onboarding and training to accelerate productivity and skill development.
• Coordinate with internal centers of excellence to equip teams with training and resources.
• Foster a culture aligned with the organization’s mission, vision and values.
• Lead from the front by joining client calls and supporting the team as needed.
• Partner with the sales director for quarterly business planning and performance management.
• Contribute to decision making and operate within budgetary constraints.
