Job summary

Thrivent Financial is seeking a Growth & Development Manager, Virtual Advice, to lead a local team of licensed advisors delivering guidance across the U.S. This hybrid Dallas-based role requires on-site presence 2–3 days weekly and focuses on coaching, talent development, and aligning with organizational goals.

You will drive performance, design coaching programs, and ensure a consistent client experience while collaborating with leadership, HR, and virtual advisory teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, management, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Prior financial advisor experience and leadership of a team of eight or more.
• Eligible for Securities and Insurance licensing in all states and D.C.; preferred FINRA Series 7 and 63/65 or 66, plus Life/Health licenses (to be obtained within 120 days).
• Experience in financial planning, investments, and insurance products with consultative sales models.
• Proven ability to lead change in a fast-paced environment and collaborate for results.

Responsibilities

• Lead a local team of nationally licensed advisors serving clients across all states.
• Conduct daily and weekly coaching sessions on-site and virtually.
• Drive business planning and manage performance to meet goals.
• Interview, hire, and develop talent to meet staffing needs.
• Deliver onboarding and training to accelerate productivity and skills.
• Ensure strong client experience through ongoing feedback and coaching.
