Job summary

National Park Foundation is seeking a Manager, Donor Engagement in Washington, DC to lead stewardship and donor relations within the Donor Engagement team of the Philanthropy division. The role collaborates with fundraisers, program, and external relations to engage and steward donors, including a small personal portfolio, and to implement recognition and stewardship strategies across the donor lifecycle.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum of four years in donor relations or nonprofit fundraising.
Experience with a large-scale national campaign and complex organization structures.

Responsibilities

Stewardship strategy and donor engagement planning and tracking.
Stewardship mapping with gift officers and donor lifecycle touches.
Oversee Teddy Roosevelt Society recognition for lifetime donors.
Develop and refresh donor materials to support fundraising efforts.
Manage the lifetime stewardship portfolio and donor inquiries.
Document major gifts and align stewardship with grant reporting schedules.
Develop and report donor relations metrics from CRM data.
Plan and execute donor events and experiences (in person, virtual, hybrid).
Coordinate donor travel planning and personalized park experiences with fundraisers.
Draft donor communications and manage recognition deliverables.
