Job summary

Discord is seeking an Ad Operations Manager to scale our ads business and drive data-informed decisions across campaigns. You’ll collaborate with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Data Science to implement campaigns, optimize performance, and deliver insights that shape go-to-market strategy. The role requires 3–5+ years in digital advertising, SQL and scripting skills, and a proven client-facing record to maximize ROI. Equity included.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of experience in digital advertising or ad operations.
• Hands-on experience with AI tools (LLM-based workflows) to drive efficiency.
• SQL proficiency; Python or similar scripting preferred for tooling
• Knowledge of ad technologies, tracking, and measurement solutions
• Experience partnering with Engineering/Product on escalations and integrations
• Proven track record delivering value to clients
• Strong analytical skills to generate data-driven insights

Responsibilities

• Ensure campaigns are implemented and launched on time according to specs with parameters like dates, targeting, tracking, and budget.
• Provide hands-on technical support to key customers and sales partners; manage escalation paths with Engineering.
• Collaborate with Account Managers and technical teams to optimize outcomes and ROI; perform A/B testing.
• Synthesize campaign performance insights for internal stakeholders and clients.
• Build automation and tooling to reduce manual effort and scale the team, including AI workflows.
• Serve as the operational engine for revenue-driving functions across Discord Business Organization.
