Reddit is seeking a Staff Data Scientist to advance intelligence powering the advertiser experience. You will own high-impact problems in measurement, identity, and signal quality across advertising platforms.

You will influence strategic direction, set a high technical bar, and drive cross-functional initiatives with engineering, product, and sales teams while mentoring others and upholding best practices.

Qualifications

• PhD/Master's in Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Economics or Operations Research required.
• 10+ years in applied science or data science roles for MS holders; 6+ years for PhD holders.
• Deep understanding of the ads ecosystem and measurement/experimentation.

Responsibilities

• Design the Future of Ads Identity using probabilistic models for identity resolution.
• Own Lift methodologies and experimentation with large-scale testing infrastructure.
• Maximize signal for predictive performance and improve bidding ROAS.
• Define ground truth and evaluation frameworks to validate identity and measurement.
• Lead through cross-functional influence, mentoring and best-practice propagation.
