Job summary

Reddit, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated Senior Data Scientist to join the Ads Data Science team.

You will develop and apply cutting-edge DS models to improve the adoption and performance of Reddit's advertising platform through data-driven insights. You will work with product managers, engineers, and fellow data scientists to identify opportunities, define metrics, and build scalable solutions that drive measurable impact for Reddit.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a quantitative field (Masters or Ph.D).
• 5+ years of industry data science experience for MS holders; 4+ years for PhD holders.
• Strong background in statistics, ML, and causal inference.
• Experience with large-scale data processing tools and SQL.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and apply data science solutions to improve advertiser experience and Reddit's ad platform.
• Analyze large-scale datasets to identify trends and insights for ad performance.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define requirements and deliver DS solutions.
• Develop ML models and DS methods to improve anomaly detection, prediction, and pattern recognition.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders across the organization.
• Stay up-to-date on ML and DS advancements and mentor junior data scientists.
