Job summary

Reddit is seeking a Staff Data Scientist to advance the intelligence powering the advertiser experience. You will shape the strategic direction of the Ads organization, set a high technical bar, and drive cross-functional initiatives across critical focus areas.

You will design probabilistic identity models, lead lift experiments, and work with modeling teams to improve bidding efficiency and ROAS. This role reports to the Ads Data Science team and offers high autonomy.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a quantitative field and strong modeling background.
• Experience with design and analysis of experiments at scale.
• Expertise in statistics, causal inference, or lift measurement.

Responsibilities

• Design probabilistic models for identity resolution across on- and off-platform signals.
• Own Lift design and experimentation for ads, building scalable testing infra.
• Improve predictive performance by integrating new signal sources into models.
• Define ground truth and evaluation frameworks to measure identity and measurement accuracy.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, and sales; mentor teams.
