Job summary

Reddit, Inc. is seeking a Staff Data Scientist to lead marketing intelligence strategy. You will architect measurement for B2B and B2C growth, setting long-term goals and guiding budget decisions across Marketing, Growth, and Finance.

You will mentor a team of scientists, drive causal inference initiatives, and deliver rigorous, production-grade data solutions to optimize Reddit's marketing spend and brand impact.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or related quantitative field.
• MS holders: 10+ years of industry experience in marketing science, growth data science, or econometrics; PhD holders: 6+ years.
• Deep understanding of marketing ecosystem, MMM, Incrementality Testing, and LTV prediction.
• Proficiency in Python or R and SQL; production-grade data pipelines; machine learning for predictive modeling.
• Strong track record influencing C-suite and translating statistics into business strategy.
• Experience in fast-paced environments and building frameworks from the ground up.

Responsibilities

• Set the 2–3 year technical roadmap for marketing measurement and establish North Star metrics.
• Build and refine MMM and MTA systems to quantify marketing ROI.
• Design unified frameworks bridging B2B and B2C growth to drive revenue and engagement.
• Lead causal inference and always-on incrementality testing and geo-holdout experiments.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Growth, and Finance to translate insights into budget decisions.
• Mentor junior scientists and uphold code quality and statistical rigor.
