Job summary

Reddit, Inc. is seeking a Staff Data Scientist for Ads Measurement, Signals, and Privacy to own high-impact measurement problems within Reddit's ads ecosystem. This remote role focuses on identity resolution, signal quality, and rigorous experimentation to improve advertiser outcomes while maintaining privacy.

You'll lead cross-functional initiatives, mentor teammates, and set a high technical bar across modeling, experimentation, and measurement practices.

Qualifications

Advanced degree required in statistics, math, physics, economics, or OR
MS: 10+ years of industry experience; PhD: 6+ years in applied science or data science
Deep understanding of the ads ecosystem
Experience with measurement & experimentation at scale
Identity graph creation, resolution, and infrastructure
Predictive modeling with signal loss
Strong programming skills in Python or R and SQL
Experience with machine learning or optimization techniques
Strong knowledge of experimental design, causal inference, or A/B testing
Excellent problem-solving and cross-functional communication skills

Responsibilities

Design and advance identity resolution methodologies and signal quality
Own lift measurement and experimentation at scale for ads products
Improve predictive performance through new signal sources and integration into models
Define ground truth and evaluation frameworks for identity graphs
Lead cross-functional collaboration with engineering, product, and sales teams
