Job summary

Groups Recover Together is seeking an Admissions Counselor for a remote role servicing the Washington region. The role leads the treatment team, conducts intake assessments, and coordinates clinical decisions to support member recovery using evidence-based practices.

Required licensure or willingness to obtain reciprocity, along with 2+ years of group-therapy leadership in a SUD setting, and strong tech skills for EMR and communications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Licensed clinician (LCSW/LPCC/LMHC/LMFT) or equivalent, with ability to obtain reciprocity.
• Minimum two years of experience leading group therapy in a SUD setting.
• Strong tech skills and ability to use EMR, email, and mobile apps.
• Committed to member success and ethical standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the treatment team and coordinate decisions about members’ treatment.
• Conduct intake assessments to determine eligibility.
• Perform clinical assessments daily and document progress in EMR.
• Provide individual support, including crisis intervention and referrals.
• Ensure compliance with admission documentation and licensure requirements.
• Participate in required internal and external trainings.
