Job summary

Groups Recover Together is seeking an Admissions Counselor to lead the treatment team and coordinate members’ care from a remote WA location. The role focuses on addiction recovery, with collaboration among providers, care navigators, and administrators to deliver affordable, high‑quality care.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) and licensure in SUD fields, with at least two years of leadership in group therapy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Licensure or certification: LCSW, LPCC, LMHC, LMFT with reciprocity in other states.
• Minimum two years of experience leading group therapy in a SUD setting.
• High comfort level with technology, including EMR, email, software and mobile apps (e.g., Google Apps).
• Deeply invested in member success and ethical practice.
• Experience completing intakes in a SUD setting.
• Access to reliable internet and strong remote work setup.

Responsibilities

• Lead the treatment team and coordinate member’s treatment decisions.
• Develop and advance clinical skill set within the Groups Recovery System.
• Conduct intake assessments to evaluate suitability for the program.
• Complete daily clinical assessments and provide individual support as needed.
• Document progress using the EMR and ensure compliance across clinicians.
• Collaborate with providers to evaluate treatment appropriateness for each member.
• Oversee documentation for admission requirements and licensure compliance.
• Participate in trainings for licensure upkeep and professional development.
