Job summary

Workit Health is seeking a Recovery Counselor to deliver clinical interventions for members with Substance Use Disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions via telehealth. The role focuses on co-facilitating shared follow-up appointments and team-based treatment as a full-time remote employee.

The candidate will facilitate groups using MI and CBT, perform evaluations, maintain HIPAA compliance, and work a flexed schedule including evenings and potential weekends.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required and Illinois state licensure (LCSW or LMFT) required.
• 1+ year experience providing SUD services in inpatient or outpatient settings.
• CBT and MI skills required; MET training a plus.
• Ability to work independently online and in telehealth environments.

Responsibilities

• Co-facilitate virtual multidisciplinary groups and shared medical appointments.
• Apply Motivational Interviewing and CBT techniques in group and individual formats.
• Provide evidence-based SUD services through psychoeducational and CBT-based groups.
• Prepare documentation per organizational and state standards in a timely manner.
• Complete evaluations for enrollment in various programs and assess adults/adolescents.
