Qualifications

• Experience in behavioral health admissions or related field preferred.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Knowledge of behavioral health and first responder culture preferred.
• Willingness to complete required cultural competency training.
• Proficiency with multiple electronic systems and data entry.
• Commitment to confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly and professionally to phone calls, texts, emails, inquiries and referrals.
• Serve as the initial point of contact for prospective clients, families, and referral partners.
• Gather demographic, behavioral health, insurance, and referral information.
• Identify potential concerns and escalate appropriately to clinical/admissions staff.
• Provide information on programs, levels of care, and admission requirements.
• Schedule admissions assessments with Admissions Counselors and Sr. Counselors.
• Obtain insurance details and assist with verification of benefits.
• Coordinate with Admissions, Billing, and Clinical teams as needed.
• Maintain documentation in Salesforce and EHR systems with accuracy.
• Follow up with prospective clients, families, and referral sources.
