Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of experience in admissions, intake, healthcare, or related roles.
• Experience in behavioral health, addiction treatment, or healthcare intake preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• CRM or Salesforce experience a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, healthcare, business, or related field a plus.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls and respond to inquiries and referrals from prospective clients, families, and referral partners.
• Guide callers through the admissions process and build rapport quickly.
• Gather clinical, medical, insurance, and financial information needed for admission.
• Verify insurance benefits and explain coverage and financial responsibility clearly.
• Coordinate admissions with clinical, medical, and leadership teams.
• Identify urgent situations and escalate appropriately (e.g., detox needs, safety concerns).
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in Salesforce.
• Manage multiple active cases and follow up consistently.
• Provide clear handoffs to the next shift and ensure next steps are documented.
