Job summary

Council on International Educational Exchange (CIEE) is seeking an Admissions Advisor to join the Institutional Relations team. You will be the first point of contact for students applying to study and intern abroad programs, advising on options and the application process.

You will work with Managers of Institutional Relations and other Advisors to deliver outstanding service, and you may travel 5–10 times per year to partner institutions to support students and programs.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or international equivalent.
1-2 years' experience in sales and/or customer service.
Study abroad experience preferred.
High emotional quotient (EQ); be approachable and empathetic.
Strong written and oral communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Serve as admissions expert for students and advise on programs based on studies and interests.
Manage large volume of inquiries via email, text, and calls with 24-hour response time.
Schedule prompt follow-up and inform students about programs at all inquiry stages.
Collaborate with Institutional Relations managers and meet team targets for applications and conversions.
Support on-campus student engagement opportunities as directed by the Manager.
Attend product and policy trainings to stay updated and sell/upsell programs.
