Job summary

CIEE Council on International Educational Exchange seeks a Student Enrollment Coordinator for high school study abroad. This remote role covers NYC boroughs, Westchester, Connecticut, and Long Island, with a compensation range of $44,000–$60,000 OTE.

You will guide students from inquiry to participation, manage CRM data, and host webinars and in-person events while traveling domestically as needed. Collaborative, deadline-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or international equivalent.
• A minimum of two years of customer service or sales experience.
• Ability to navigate challenging conversations.
• International travel or study abroad experience is a plus.
• Additional language skills beyond English are a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to tailor messages.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Convey the value and outcomes of study abroad to high school students and guardians.
• Follow a structured sales outreach process via phone, text, and email.
• Handle high daily call volume (20-60 calls per day).
• Motivate families through scholarship and application processes.
• Provide professional customer service throughout the application process.
• Host virtual webinars for students and parents, some evenings.
• Present to students and parents in person at high schools and fairs; domestic travel.
• Review applications, accept applicants, and convert to paid participants.
• Ensure financial accounts are accurate and collected; follow up on discrepancies.
• Use Salesforce to manage the applicant pipeline and reach goals.
• Maintain records of communication with customers in Salesforce.
• Provide on-program participant support year-round.
• Participate in sales training and skill development.
• Flexibility to work some evenings; emergency support during travel weekends.
• Opportunity for international travel to chaperone student groups.
