Job summary

The Colorado Department of Revenue (CDOR) is hiring a CRASH Unit Administrative Assistant II to perform data entry of crash reports into the DRIVES system and provide excellent customer service. The role supports motor vehicle data handling and compliance efforts while ensuring accuracy and timely responses to inquiries.

Remote work is designated, with occasional need to work from a department office. Colorado residency is required at application, and performance expectations apply while

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of General Clerical work experience in a professional office setting.
• Experience providing exceptional customer service and interfacing with a variety of people.

Responsibilities

• Reading crash reports to verify required information.
• Entering data into the DRIVES system or returning reports with errors to police agencies.
• Performing quality assurance on completed reports and correcting data entry errors.
• Providing administrative support for analysis of customer records.
• Reviewing documentation from subrogation companies or law offices and recording suspensions when appropriate.
• Reviewing clearance documents for accuracy and processing reinstatement of driving privileges.
