Job summary

Abbott is seeking an Acute Product Consultant for remote work in the Heart Failure Division. You will drive growth of the CentriMag blood pump system by leveraging clinical and product knowledge, collaborating with Territory Managers and Clinical Consultants to expand adoption across the region.

The role requires combining clinical insight with sales acumen, visiting centers, leading demonstrations, and training teams while aligning with AdvaMed guidelines and Abbott’s strategic goals.

Qualifications

• Clinical experience in acute mechanical circulatory support.
• Sales experience in a highly competitive environment.
• Ability to collaborate with clinical colleagues and sales teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Region expert on CentriMag and ECLS use; target new centers for adoption.
• Independently build relationships and drive product utilization via education and best practices.
• Coordinate with Territory Manager to drive utilization and identify opportunities at centers.
• Partner with Sales and BD to lead product demonstrations and secure support from key clinical stakeholders.
• Lead post-purchase training and participate in major ECLS and society meetings.
• Contribute to sales arguments, product development feedback, and training materials.
