Job summary

Humana Inc. is seeking an Actuary, Pricing to develop pricing strategies for Medicare Advantage products, establish pricing assumptions, prepare bids, and support regulatory filings.

You will also help implement rates, new plans and benefit changes, and advise Product Development on cost impact while developing tools for pricing both standard and customized offerings. The role requires strong analytical judgment and cross-functional collaboration, with frequent interaction across pricing,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• FSA or ASA plus relevant advanced degree, recent and relevant work experience, and/or other relevant professional designations.
• MAAA
• Demonstrated ability to articulate ideas effectively in both written and oral forms.
• Experience in more than two functions (e.g., modeling, pricing, rate filing, reporting & analysis, reserving or trending).

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute pricing strategies for Medicare Advantage products.
• Establish pricing assumptions and prepare bids.
• Support regulatory rate filings and certifications.
• Help implement rates, new plans and benefit changes.
• Advise Product Development on cost impact of new products.
