Oscar Health, Inc. is hiring a Manager, Actuarial to lead pricing for ACA markets. You will manage a team of analysts, own end-to-end regulatory submissions, and partner with Market P&L, Insurance Product, and analytics teams to ensure actuarially sound pricing.

This remote role serves candidates in the US (excluding certain states). California, New Jersey etc have higher base pay; elsewhere base pay is $122,213–$160,404 per year. Oscar offers benefits, unlimited vacation and performance bonuses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field.
• Associate or Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (SOA), or on track to become one.
• 5+ years of quantitative analysis experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain pricing models and methodologies, perform various trend analyses and experience monitoring.
• Oversee end-to-end rate development within a specific region for ACA markets.
• Influence and collaborate with stakeholders to guide strategic pricing decisions.
• Monitor emerging market dynamics and apply learnings to pricing strategy.
• Provide actuarial input across cross-functional teams to ensure sustainable growth.
