Job summary

Oscar Health, Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager, Actuarial to lead pricing analyses for ACA markets. You will manage a pricing team, own end-to-end rate development, and partner with Market P&L, Insurance Product, and analytics teams to shape national pricing strategy.

You will oversee regulatory submissions and ensure actuarial soundness across markets. You will report to the Director, Actuarial and mentor analysts, promoting automation and strong stakeholder communication while navigating

Qualifications

• Bachelors or higher in a STEM field.
• Associate or Fellow of the SOA, or on track to become one.
• 7+ years of quantitative analysis experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead team initiatives to enhance pricing models and methodologies.
• Oversee end-to-end rate development within a region for ACA markets.
• Influence stakeholders to guide strategic pricing decisions.
• Understand financial risks and opportunities across ACA markets and SAE considerations.
• Provide actuarial input to cross-functional teams for sustainable growth.
• Mentor pricing analysts with regular feedback.
• Promote actuarial best practices in automation and documentation.
• Maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
