Job summary

Oscar Health is hiring a Senior Manager, Actuarial to lead pricing for ACA markets and manage a team of analysts. You will own end-to-end rate development and collaborate with Market P&L, Insurance Product, and other analytics functions to drive regional pricing strategy.

You will report to the Director, Actuarial, and contribute to national strategy while ensuring pricing remains actuarially sound and compliant. This is a remote role serving U.S.

Qualifications

• SOA Associate or Fellow, or on track to become one.
• 7+ years of quantitative analysis experience.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills.
• Strong understanding of health insurance concepts and nuances.

Responsibilities

• Lead pricing initiatives and enhance pricing models and methodologies.
• Oversee end-to-end rate development within a region for ACA markets.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to guide strategic pricing decisions.
• Apply actuarial risk understanding to pricing strategy and SAE considerations.
• Provide actuarial perspective across cross-functional teams to support sustainable growth.
