Job summary

Work At Home Vintage Experts LLC is seeking an experienced Actuarial Analyst for a remote, long-term position. Responsibilities include pricing studies, trend analysis, and reserve recommendations across commercial lines in P&C, with collaboration across underwriting and product teams.

The role requires extensive actuarial experience, a mathematics-related degree, and ideally ACAS/FCAS credentials. Flexible full-time or part-time options are available from home.

Qualifications

• 25 years of full-time work experience in insurance is required.
• 10 most current years of actuarial experience with commercial lines pricing in P&C.
• Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, economics, statistics, or related major.
• ACAS or FCAS designation preferred but not required.
• Strong experience using statistical techniques to build predictive models addressing underwriting or claims.

Responsibilities

• Assist with pricing studies to evaluate profitability of insurance products.
• Perform competitor analysis to monitor pricing and product developments.
• Conduct trend analysis of frequency and severity of claims.
• Lead state and product rate reviews and filings by interpreting bureau rate changes.
• Collaborate with Underwriting, Product Management, Sales, Finance to support revisions and expansion of offerings.
• Assess experience, source of earnings, reserve adequacy, and forward-looking drivers for reserves.
• Develop rating methodologies for existing and new products.
