Placer.ai is seeking an AR Specialist to partner with the accounting team to ensure accurate invoicing, timely collections, and robust reporting. The role focuses on the receiving side of the company’s finances and requires proactive independence in a high-growth environment.

You will work with Salesforce, Netsuite, and e-invoicing platforms (Ariba, Coupa) while supporting tax compliance with Avalara. This is a remote-first position with collaboration across sales operations, customer success

Formación

• AA degree in accounting or related field.
• 2+ years experience in collections, invoicing, and/or accounts receivable.
• Experience with Salesforce and Netsuite.
• Experience with e-invoicing platforms (Ariba, Coupa).
• Proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to communicate effectively across departments in a remote environment.
• Understanding of the order-to-cash lifecycle and tax platforms like Avalara.

Responsabilidades

• Approve Sales Orders synced from Salesforce for accuracy.
• Review invoices for tax compliance using Avalara.
• Set up Placer.ai as a vendor in third-party portals.
• Upload e-invoices via Ariba and Coupa.
• Upload tax exemption certificates to Avalara.
• Assist in the billing email inbox and respond to inquiries.
• Resolve billing discrepancies and manage collections activity.
• Send dunning letters for overdue accounts.
• Contact customers about overdue accounts and reasons for non-payment.
• Disable platform access when payments are unlikely.
• Notify about credit holds and potential write-offs.
• Coordinate with internal teams to resolve billing and revenue questions.
• Support month-end reconciliation between Salesforce and Netsuite.
