Job summary

Connections Health Solutions is seeking an Accounts Receivable Resolution Specialist for a fully remote role, supporting multiple states. You will ensure proper billing and reimbursement through follow-up, appeals, and payer communication, acting as a reference for billing operations.

Qualifications

• 2 years of insurance claims follow-up.
• 2 years of claim denial management.
• 5 years of experience within a physician and/or facility business office.
• 1 year of experience working in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Follows up on required daily accounts to reduce the A/R.
• Validates denied claims and determines appropriate denial resolution.
• Uses WAYSTAR to submit appeal letters and payer documentation.
• Prioritizes work to improve collections efficiency.
• Documents actions within Avatar and WAYSTAR using standard notes.
• Communicates opportunities with leadership using SBAR format.
