Responsibilities

• Examine denied and non-paid claims to determine discrepancies.
• Follow up with payers on outstanding claims; file technical and clinical appeals.
• Identify reasons for underpayments and payment delays; work with management on root causes.
• Maintain understanding of federal/state regulations and payer requirements.
• Document activity in client host system or tracking system.
• Communicate trends and issues to management.
• Resolve accounts with strong problem solving and critical thinking.
