Job summary

Cmpss India Tech is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our rapidly growing team in a remote India setting. You will manage payment inquiries, discrepancies, and urgent payments, ensuring timely, accurate settlements.

You will process ACH, wires, and checks, research payment failures, and work with the bank portal for wire instructions. Strong communication and problem-solving are essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years experience in payment processing including ACH, domestic and international wires
• Advanced degree required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with Oracle E‑Business Suite (EBS), Netsuite, Zendesk, Oracle Fusion, Coupa and Concur preferred
• Proficient in Excel and Google Suite tools
• Extensive experience with requisition and PO processing of invoices
• Strong critical thinking, problem solving and quantitative skills
• Ability to multi-task and handle multiple deadlines simultaneously
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Strong interpersonal skills and glass-half-full mentality
• Secure private at-home workspace and ability to join video calls regularly
• Team player with collaborative spirit across departments
• Self-starter with positive attitude and zero ego
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in an open environment

Responsibilities

• Process ACH, wires and checks for domestic and international payments
• Research and resolve payment failures
• Enter wire instructions in bank portal (domestic and international)
• Reconcile auto-debits
• Test system updates and new tools
• Resolve vendor inquiries to resolution
• Document processes and procedures
• Streamline existing AP processes
• Support month-end close and prevent bank discrepancies
• Assist with internal and external audits
• Build vendor relations to resolve requests
• Collaborate to improve AP systems and policies
• Knowledge of tax form W9 and 1099 processing
• Perform vendor verification calls and checks
• Enter and process domestic and foreign wires
• Handle ad hoc requests and projects
